I found this sweater at the Stockton, CA Superior Thrift store
It reminds me of the one at Romwe
I love finding items that fit perfectly with the current trends.
Purchased this great find for only $5
At the same store in Stockton, I found this lovely silky scarf. It features the beautiful buildings of Paris. Scarfs are great to look at, when shopping at thrift stores. A beautiful, and cheap accessory. I purchased this scarf for $3.
First rain of Fall. I was so happy that I wore my rain boots and had an umbrella, there was a lot of rain for a 30% chance on the weather app.
I purchased these rain boots at Goodwill for $5 I believe it was. Last month my mom and I found multiple pairs of these, they were brand new from Target. Target donates a lot of items to the Goodwill in my city; I often see new items with tags still on them of the Merona and Xhiliration brands.
So this isn’t exactly a thrift find, but I felt like it what because it was only $10! I found this top at Nordstrom Rack yesterday and I love it. It is different, which attracts me in a weird way to it. I like to be different from the usual fashions, but sometimes I feel like I don’t have my own fashion identity. My fashion can tend to change, and not match an overall consistency. But I guess it’s not really a big deal, this post kind of goes along with a post a did a while back that had to do with being able to define my inner fashionista. Again, I feel like its an undefined type of thing–but there are those people who pertain to a certain style like boho chic or preppy etc. It bothered me a bit with not fitting into my own category, but–like my past post–I will consider myself thrifty chic, and loving it.

Here’s that top!
It’s a silky sheer combo,
It was originally $100 but I found it in clearance ![]()
Will most likely pair it with tight and some boots (maybe combat boots).
Love being different.
Goodwill…is your friend
This past weekend I went shopping at Goodwill
There aren’t a whole lot of thrift shops in my city besides Goodwill and Salvation Army, plus they are the better ones than the rest
I personally prefer Goodwill, most everything has a set price (except for some new items) and most everything is nicely arranged in terms of color and the actual type of item
Most women’s shirts are organized by color:
At Goodwill they recently started changing the way they arrange the jeans. Now it’s easier to find the best brands of jeans:
Often I am able to find good brands of jeans. From my most recent visit I found some of the following brands:
(J Brand, Kitson, A & F)
Another awesome thing about Goodwill is that it receives a good amount of new items from Target. I often find things from Target there that are new with tags. Those items usually are marked up a couple of dollars, but $5 for a new tee from Target isnt bad
I love looking at the dresses at Goodwill, from my most recent visit I purchased two dresses as well as a shirt-dress
The grey dress is new from Target. I love the flowery dress, definitely a cool new addition to my closet.
Each dress at Goodwill is only $4!
Plus shirts are just under $3, jeans are $5, and blazers are $6
I love the unique clothes that I find at thrift shops
Some tips:
1. Make a time limit for yourself
Give yourself 30 mins or an hour so that you speed up the process of looking through thrift. There are tons of clothes at thrift shops, so a time limit can help in speedily looking for the gems in the rest of the clothes.
2. Keep in mind what you are looking for
Its easy to get off-task in a thrift shop, so before you go in keep in mind what you are there for. If you are in desperate need of some new tops then make sure to go there first, so as not to wast time getting other items you may never have use for.
3. Prior to shopping, look for inspiration
I constantly check out lookbook.nu for new looks featuring different types of clothes. I take a screenshot on my phone of my favorite outfits and when I’m at the thrift shop I look for similar items.
